ONLINE AND OFFLINE LESSONS

Guitar Lessons

Students can choose to take the lessons online, through platforms such as Skype, Signal, WhatsApp, Zoom; or offline, if you live in Madrid (Spain) or nearby.
If you are an international student and you wish to take online lessons, go to the CONTACT page of this website and fill in the form, or write me an email and I will get in touch with you as soon as possible to answer any questions you might have regarding time tables, prices, lesson plans, etc.  I also encourage you to tell me a bit about your music background, so I can have a better idea of what is your level and what are your main objectives.
- LESSONS PROGRAM -

The main goal is for each student to be able to shape his own style, creating a program that suits in the best way his aspirations as a guitarist / musician.  From the first class, students will be able to present their objectives (in an abstract or specific way), helping to create a set of goals and a work plan.

Below you can see, as orientation, several examples in various areas of study, which can be modified to a greater or lesser extent depending on elements such as the style and goals of each student.

Learn to play the songs from your favourite artist.  Through the study of songs and a variety of exercises you will learn the different techniques for playing rhythm on the guitar.

You will be able to develop the ability to accompany yourself while you sing, or comp effectively for another singer or other soloist instruments in the context of small or large musical settings.

Would you like to learn the language of music to be able to write your own songs, or to analyse the compositions and stylistic features of the artists you admire?

You will be able to study about chords, keys, progressions, melodies, rhythms, and the harmonic movements that are present in the songs you like.

Deverlop your repertoire

Learn to perform musical works in a variety of styles, or become proficient in the genre that you like the most. I will help you get past the barriers usually found when learning a piece of music, and work on different aspects related to the interpretation of music.

Develop a melodic and harmonic vocabulary that suits the style or styles that interest you. Analyse compositions and melodic fragments from your favourite musicians and assimilate the different techniques used in their music.

Applying the concepts learned: You will be able to compose pieces of music, or spontaneously create solos or musical ideas that you will be able to use in songs or in musical settings.

Improving your technical ability: Playing music composed by other musicians puts our skills to the test, and will make us aware of what are our weaknesses, making us grow as performers.
